Mark Pogue Contest Winner Receives $500

POWDERLY, KY (1/18/14) - A $500 Visa gift card was awarded to the winner of a contest proving that Pogue Automotive is the Largest Small Town Dealer in America. Located in Powderly Kentucky, the new Pogue Autoplex is huge for a town with a population of about 762. In fact, most days there are more cars on the Pogue-Plex lot than there are citizens of the town

The problem is that Guinness World Records doesn’t have this category and Mark Pogue, owner of the multiple automobile dealer complex, decided to give it the test. If anyone could come up with a larger dealership in a smaller town, they would win $2,500. Otherwise, if the contestant agreed that the Pogue-Plex was the “largest in the smallest”, they could win $500.

The contest was only on WBKR Radio. Since no one came up with a “larger in a smaller”, the $500 prize was awarded by Pogue Chrysler Jeep Ram. The Grand Prize Winner was Michele Vanover of Bremen, Kentucky. Assisting Michele was daughter Madison who attends Bremen Elementary School.

Mark Pogue told Michele that she could double the money with a Pogue Promotion where the $500 would double to $1,000 when used to buy a new car. Michele, who is employed by Owensboro Heart and Vascular, declined the offer. “My car is paid for she said.” Michele told SurfKY News that the winnings will be used to pay a few bills.

For those that did not win and even those that did not enter or even know about the contest, you can Double Your Money or Double the Value of your down payment up to $2,000! This promotion ends soon! So, check with your favorite sales rep at the dealer for details.
