crime scene 300HOPKINS COUNTY, KY (12/4/12) – At around 4:00 on Monday, December 3, the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a possible assault in the Nortonville area.

An incident took place resulting in a female having her throat cut by a male suspect. The female was taken to ER for treatment of injuries immediately.

After arrived at the home where the assault was assumed to have taken place, Deputies found that the male suspect had left the scene of the incident. At last update, the male suspect was being searched for throughout the Hopkins County area.

Hopkins County Deputies are still investigating the incident at this time.
