Hopkinsville Man Arrested in Madisonville on Child Exploitation Charges

arrest BravardHOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (3/14/13) – KSP Detective Dan Morck arrested a Hopkinsville man on charges relating to child exploitation.
 
John V. Bravard, 62 of Hopkinsville, KY, was charged with one count of Unlawful Use of Electronic Means to Induce a Minor to Engage in Sexual Activity or Other Prohibited Activities (Class D Felony). He was lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.

On March 10, 2013, an investigation began in reference to the accused inquiring about having sexual intercourse with an under-age victim. On Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at approximately 5:00 p.m., detectives and troopers from the KSP Post in Madisonville conducted a traffic stop on Mr. Bravard's vehicle on West Center Street in the limits of Madisonville. Mr. Bravard was taken into custody without incident.
 
The KSP is a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC).
