RELAY LIFE 300HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (4/6/13) – The Hopkins Co. Relay for Life organization is especially active this time of year, striving to meet the goals for the big Relay walk this coming May at Hopkins County Central High School.

On Saturday, April 20, they are hosting the second annual Relay for Life Dodge Ball Tournament at West Broadway Elementary School. The tournament is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. in the school’s gymnasium. Relay’s fundraising Chairman Jeremy Smith and Co-Chair Lauren Wood are inviting the community to come and play. Registration will cost $10 per person, which also includes a Relay for Life t-shirt.

Each team will consist of eight players, competing for the winner’s title and trophy while raising money to contribute to American Cancer Society. Interested players may form teams of their own prior to registration if they wish as long as they maintain the eight person requirement. You must be 16 years of age or older to play.

You may pick up tournament registration forms at U.S. Bank on E. Center St. or call Smith at (270) 635-5233 or Wood at (270) 339-5358. The deadline for registration is April 15. The event is being sponsored by Cuda tools.
