Job Corps Hosts Regional Softball Tournament

MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (6/26/14) — The Muhlenberg Job Corps Center hosted the regional softball conference Saturday, June 14, 2014.

The teams that took the field were from the Carl D. Perkins, Earle C. Clements and Whitney M. Young Job Corps centers.

The Muhlenberg Bulldogs coed team produced a solid defense which resulted in a victorious win and won their tournament.

The Muhlenberg Bulldogs women's team also won their division bringing home the first place trophy.

Softball-Team---Girls-6.201Muhlenberg Bulldogs women's team

The men's team lost in a heartbreaker in the championship game to Earl C. Clements. They were down by twelve, came back and took the lead, and then lost by 5 runs.

Coach Perry of the Muhlenberg Bulldogs was excited for both teams and looks forward to hosting again next year.
