First Kentucky Donates Computers to ARK

MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (8/11/14) — First Kentucky Bank recently donated eight of its 'retired' computer CPUs and accessories to the ARK Christian Academy in Greenville.

“From time to time when we upgrade our computer systems, it leaves us with a surplus of gently-used equipment,” said Dean Rowe, Pennyrile Region Executive for First Kentucky Bank. “We’re so pleased that these computers will live on to assist in the education of the kids at the ARK Christian Academy. What’s remarkable is that we didn’t have any monitors to go along with our units, but out-of-the-blue the school received a corresponding donation of monitors from another benefactor. It’s amazing to see the hand of God at work in our community.”
