Green River Firefighters' to Honor All Emergency Service Personnel

logoGREENVILLE, Ky. (8/14/14) ― Military, firefighters, emergency medical crews, emergency dispatchers, all emergency service providers will be honored at 5 p.m. Sept. 6 at Felix E Martin Hall in Greenville Ky.

The Green River Regional Firefighters Association Honor Guard is holding its third annual memorial service to honor all emergency services personnel.  The Green River Association represents emergency service crews and departments for Daviess County, Muhlenberg County, Henderson County, Ohio County, Union County, McLean County, Webster County and Hancock County.

"The public will be presented to a slide show upon entry to the event," said Chuck Browning, Deputy Commander of the Green River Association. "We will have speakers from the various departments, and we will perform some ceremonies including the Bell Ceremony."

Browning invites the public to attend and show their support for firefighters and emergency responders.
