Local Students Top Regional Winners in Music, English and Literature

MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (6/11/13) – The Muhlenberg Board of Education honored several students for their accomplishments during the board's June 10th meeting.togethergirlsaward 500

Winners for Excellence in Music at recent regional competition that included Webster, Hopkins, Union, Henderson, and Muhlenberg Counties, Grades 5 through 8, included:
 
1st Place: Grace Keets
Muhlenberg South Middle School
 
Alyssa Brewer, 2nd place
Muhlenberg South Middle School
 
Trinity Pierpoint, 3rd place
Muhlenberg South Middle School
 
Regional winner in English and Literature included:
 
Kyleigh Laster 1st Place
Sam Beliles, 2nd Place
Reghan Diedrach, 3rd Place

Allison Baxley was the winner of the regional T Shirt Design Contest. Allison is a student at Bremen Elementary, and will be attending North Middle School this Fall. Her t-shirt design includes the message "We've Got Power 'Cause We Mine It".
