Owensboro Police Department Investigating Automobile Thefts

oboro police 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (4/3/2014) — Owensboro Police Department detectives are investigating numerous theft cases involving items being removed from locked vehicles.

These cases have been on the rise in recent weeks and have occurred in multiple locations, particularly in business parking lots on Frederica Street, south of the U.S. 60 Bypass.

Detectives have reason to believe that a white male is involved in these crimes.

The Owensboro Police Department wants to remind our community members to remove valuables from their vehicle when it is unattended.
