Owensboro Police Department Reports Activity

oboro police 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (6/10/14) — Owensboro Police Department reported the following recent arrests and citations:

May Blakely-Gamblin, 30, of Owensboro, and Joseph Harrison, 32, Owensboro, were each charged with theft by unlawful taking from a vehicle and theft by unlawful taking of a controlled substance following an investigation into a number of “smash and grab” thefts from vehicles over several months, including break-ins of vehicles at Friday After 5 on May 23. Blakely-Gamblin was also charged with first degree criminal mischief.

Jeremy Bradley, 43, of Owensboro, was charged with first degree sexual abuse of a victim under 12 years ofage.

Robert Brooks, 22, of Owensboro, was charged with third degree criminal trespassing.

Richard Brown, 52, of Owensboro, Susan Johnson, 23, of Owensboro, and Dusty Vauters, 29, of Owensboro, were each charged with racing a motor vehicle on a public highway in the 1700 block of Tamarack Road.

Tamara Clark, 28, of Fordsville, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and first degree promoting contraband following a traffic stop at the corner of E. 4th St. and Triplett Street. Police said Clark was a passenger in the vehicle.

Caleb Dennis, 19, of Owensboro, was charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition shoplifting less than $500 in the 1300 block of Carter Road.

Jonathan Herzog, 25, of Owensboro, was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of drug paraphernalia, and other offenses following a traffic stop on Scherm Road.

Kevin Jones, 36, of Owensboro, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in the 2100 block of the Southeastern Parkway.

Mariah Kelly, 18, of Owensboro, was charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition shoplifting less than $500, failure to notify the Department of Transportation of an address change, and unlawful transaction with a minor in the 3400 block of Villa Pt. Authorities alleged Kelly and a 16 year old juvenile stole items from a clothing store.

Jonathan Miller, 19, of Owensboro, was charged with second degree assault, trafficking in marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Tyler Polston, 18, was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place.

Ponaird Sutton, 46, of Owensboro, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and tampering with physical evidence.

Jonathan Whitehouse, 30, of Owensboro, was charged with animals to be kept on restraint after police allegedly responded to a report of pit bulls running loose in the 2800 block of Allen St.

Kenneth Winters, 27, of Owensboro, was charged with fourth degree assault in the 2300 block of Yewells Landing.

Timothy Arnold, 40, of Owensboro, was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place, first degree criminal trespassing in two separate incidents.

Daniel Coombs, 30, of Owensboro, was charged with fleeing or evading police on foot and alcohol intoxication in the 2700 block of McFarland Ave.

Kelly Cunningham, 38, of Owensboro, was charged with public intoxication of a controlled substance, second degree disorderly conduct, and second degree terroristic threatening in the 1000 block of W. 8th St.

Thomas Ewing, 45, of Owensboro, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence and other traffic violations in the 1500 block of Springdale Rd.

Kimberly Hill, 43, of Owensboro, was charged with theft by unlawful taking at Wal-Mart on Ky. 54.

Jose Gonzales, 36, of Evansville, Ind., was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence and other traffic violations at the corner of Strickland DR. and Southtown Blvd.

Jason Holleman, 33, of Owensboro, was charged with theft by unlawful taking less than $500 in the 300 block of E. 4th St.

Lisa Laboy, 28, of Owensboro, was charged with second degree criminal abuse of a child under 12 years of age in the 2100 block of Berkshire Drive.

Logan Morton, 23, of Philpot, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence and other traffic related violations at the corner of Frederica St. and Southtown Blvd.

Katrina Read, 35, of Owensboro, was charged with theft by unlawful taking or disposition less than $500 in the 300 block of E. 4th St.

Terry Reisz, 20, of Owensboro, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence.

Jason Smith, 23, of Owensboro, was charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place and resisting arrest in the 2500 block of W. Parrish Ave.

Kaitlyn Brack, 18, of Owensboro, was charged with possession of an open alcoholic beverage container and other traffic violation on J.R. Miller Blvd.

Jason Carman, 21, of Owensboro, was charged with third degree terroristic threatening and wanton endangerment.

David Filback, 51, of Philpot, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence and possession of marijuana.

William Hoff, 45, of Philpot, was charged with parental responsibility of a minor after his daughter was alleged to be the passenger in a vehicle on JR Miller Blvd. after curfew. Authorities alleged the juvenile was intoxicated.

Melissa Hunter, 52, of Owensboro, was charged with theft by unlawful taking between $500 and $10,000 in the 1800 block of Epworth Lane.

Chelsea Reesman, 18, of Calhoun, was charged with person 18-20 possession/purchase/attempt purchase of alcohol on J.R. Miller Blvd.

Virginia Sanders, 37, of Owensboro, was charged with parental responsibility of a minor. Authorities alleged Sanders’ son was a passenger of a vehicle stopped by police after curfew.

Seth Washington, 20, of Russellville, was charged with third degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

William Wells, 25, of Owensboro, was charged with fourth degree assault in the 3000 block of W. 5th St.
