Henderson Police Report Investigations, Accident

hend police arrest4 300HENDERSON, Ky. (4/25/13) – Henderson Police are investigating a reported break-in at Evergreen Court. Authorities said a 73-year-old woman living at the residence told them she was awoken to noise in her house, and that the suspect fled the scene when she turned the light on. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Henderson Police Department at 270-831-1295 or Crimestoppers at 270-831-1111.

Henderson Police are investigated the reported theft of a firearm from a man’s vehicle at an unknown time and location. According to authorities, the owner of the pistol contacted them at approximately 11:17 p.m. on April 23 to report the weapon had been stolen. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Henderson Police Department at 270-831-1295 or Crimestoppers at 270-831-1111.

A 21-year-old Henderson man was cited on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a DUI suspended operator’s license and driving without insurance following a two-vehicle accident in the 1600 block of North Green Street at 10:17 p.m. on April 22. According to authorities, a 17-year-old female of Henderson, apparently struck Clifton Kitchens when she merged into his lane. Police said Littrell told them she didn’t see Kitchens’ vehicle before the collision. The impact caused Kitchens’ vehicle to overturn approximately three times. He was taken to Methodist Hospital for treatment of injuries.
