accident injuries amb 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (6/14/13) – An 18-year-old Owensboro woman was taken by ambulance to Owensboro Health following a two vehicle accident Thursday at 9 p.m. at the intersection of Pleasant Valley Rd. and Eastland Drive.

According to Kentucky State Police Post 16, Hannah Embry was driving a 2002 Volvo south on Pleasant Valley Road behind Bryan Garrison, who was driving a 2010 Dodge.

Authorities said Garrison slowed to make a left turn onto Eastland Drive but that Embry apparently failed to see Garrison stopping before she collided with his.

Embry’s car traveled further south on Pleasant Valley before coming to a final rest.  She was transported to OMHS by Yellow Ambulance for minor injuries before being released. No other injuries were reported.
