Henderson County High School 300HENDERSON, Ky. (7/23/13) – Henderson County High School beginning of the 2013-2014 school year events are as follows:

Student Schedule Pick Up Times
The following times are scheduled for Henderson County High School sophomores, juniors, and seniors to pick up their student schedules for the 2013-2014 school year. Those that are unable to pick up the student schedules at the following times can pick up their schedules the first day of school on August 7:
       Seniors- Monday, July 29, from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.
       Juniors- Wednesday, July 31, from 7 a.m.- 2 p.m.
       Sophomores- Thursday, August 1, from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m.
 
Student schedules can be picked up in the high school’s gymnasium lobby and the main office. Book fees for the 2013-2014 school year are $50 per student.
 
Freshman Orientation
The Henderson County High School freshman orientation allows students the opportunity to tour the high school, meet their advisors, and receive class schedules and locker information. Parents/guardians will have the opportunity to talk with their child’s unit principal and guidance counselor as well as complete registration forms for the 2013-2014 school year. Henderson County High School staff will be available for parents/guardians to pay book fees. Advance copies of the registration forms are available online:

Parents/guardians can complete and submit the forms at the freshman orientation.
 
Henderson County High School freshman orientation will be conducted on the following dates for each unit:
     Green Unit: Thursday, August 1st from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Check in begins at 5:30 p.m. in the cafeteria of the school.
     Red Unit: Wednesday, July 31, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Check in begins at 5:30 p.m. in the cafeteria of the school.
     Blue Unit: Monday, July 29, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Check in begins at 5:30 p.m. in the cafeteria of the school.
