LEXINGTON, Ky. (3/12/13) – Hunter Baize, driver of the #13 Kawasaki Ford finished 12th in points among 49 cars in the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing in New Smyrna Beach, FL. The Hunter Baize Racing driver saw Top-15 starts and finishes in all but a few races during the 9-race event.
The two weeks of competition marked the first time racing in the #13 Ford sponsored by Kawasaki, Volvo, and Wood-Mizer. Team owner Robbie Baize was pleased with the progress the team saw throughout the Speed Weeks. “We brought the team to Florida for one reason, experience. The success we had on the track was just an added bonus. The two weeks we spent in Florida has gotten us ready for the start of our national tour in April.”
Hunter Baize Racing will be fielding the #13 car with Hunter Baize as the driver for the in the CRA Jegs All-Star Tour, national tour sanctioned by ARCA consisting of 16 100-lap races. The first race will be held in Springsport, MI on April 28th at the Springsport Speedway.
