WKU Alumni Association to Host Tailgating for WKU-UK Game

wku red blackBOWLING GREEN, Ky. (8/21/13) – The WKU Alumni Association invites football fans to join them for tailgating fun as the Hilltoppers prepare to take on the Wildcats of Kentucky on Aug. 31 at LP Field in Nashville, Tenn.
 
According to Rick DuBose, Executive Director of the WKU Alumni Association, Topper fans can gather at LP Field’s Parking Lot T from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., prior to the 6 p.m. kickoff time. Atmos Energy will provide food and non-alcoholic beverages.
 
“Games don’t get much bigger than this one—two Kentucky universities with new coaches, opening the year in an NFL stadium,” DuBose said. “Come tailgate with your WKU friends at Titans Stadium, and let’s get fired up for a big WKU victory!”

Game tickets are still available from the WKU Ticket Office. Ticket prices are $22 for upper corner, $32 for upper sideline, $47 for lower level sideline and $67 for club level. For ticket information, call 1-800-5-BIGRED.
