Bicycle vs. Passenger Car Collision with Injuries

bicycle accident2 300PADUCAH, Ky. (7/8/13) – On Sunday, July 7, 2013, at approximately 2:22 PM, a bicycle operated by 12-year-old Dalton Janeway of Paducah, Kentucky collided with a passenger car driven by 42-year-old Christa Cosner of Benton, Kentucky.

The collision occurred in front of 4810 Benton Road. Both vehicles were eastbound at the time of the collision. Mr. Janeway was attempting to turn left into the driveway of 4810 Benton Road when he turned his bicycle into the path of Ms. Cosner’s passenger car.

As a result of the accident, Mr. Janeway had visible scrapes and abrasions and was transported to Baptist Health Hospital to be checked for any additional injuries.

Mercy EMS and Reidland Fire assisted at the scene.

No other persons reported injuries or were transported for treatment.
