HICKMAN COUNTY, Ky. (4/17/13) – At approximately 7:54 pm on Tuesday, April 16, Trooper Michael Cook with the Kentucky State Police (KSP) and officers with the Hickman Police Department, acting on a tip, responded to a residence on Tennessee Street in Hickman, KY.
Upon arrival, officers gained consent to search the residence and subsequently discovered ingredients of a meth lab. At that time, the Kentucky State Police meth cleanup response unit responded and disposed of the lab.
Wendy Corum and Kenneth Vowell were arrested at the scene and lodged in the Fulton County Detention Center. The investigation continues by Trooper Michael Cook, and additional charges are pending at this time.
Trooper Cook was assisted on scene by members of the Hickman Police Department, Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force, Kentucky State Police DESI West, and Fulton County Jail.
