CADIZ, Ky. (5/14/13) – Ray Anthony Farmer, 56, has been arrested in Louisa, Kentucky following a short foot chase there early this morning.
Farmer is charged with the Nov. 4, 2012 Cadiz burglaries of El Bracero Restaurant, Hancock's Market, Goodwin Insurance, Parker Quik Lube, and Fortner's Gas.
The Lawrence County Sheriff's Department served Farmer five Trigg County arrest warrants today charging him with five counts of Second-Degree Burglary and five counts of Possession of Burglary Tools.
Farmer was captured by the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department after wrecking a van there and fleeing on foot.
He was also served with warrants from Lawrence County and Todd County and fugitive warrants from Clarksville, Tennessee stemming from several burglaries there.
It is not immediately known when Farmer will return to Trigg County to face his charges in court.
He is lodged at the Big Sandy Correctional Complex in Johnson County, Ky.
