Chamber Hosts J.D. Byriders’ Ribbon Cutting for New Location

jd 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (7/19/13) -- The Owensboro Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony for J.D. Byriders on Friday at their new location on East 18th Street.
 
J.D. Byriders is the largest national used car dealership, according to owner Mike France, who spoke at the ribbon cutting. It began approximately 25 years ago in Indianapolis, Ind., and is now in 32 states with 150 locations nationwide.
 
The corporation helps finance automobiles for customers that need to establish or re-establish their credit.
 
J.D. Byriders has been a member of the Owensboro Chamber of Commerce since 2008. They recently “grew out” of their 4th Street location, said France. They have since expanded their business and added five employees. The grand opening for the car lot’s new location was held on July 1.
 
“We are glad to be here,” France said.

J.D. Byriders is open Mon. through Thurs.10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Fri. 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Sat. 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sun. Closed. You can reach them at 270-684-7669.
