soccerOWENSBORO, Ky. (5/5/14) — This summer, the Owensboro Parks and Recreation Department will again host the Challenger Sports British Soccer Camp, taught by professional players and coaches from Great Britain.

This unique camp will run June 16 - 20 at the Thompson Berry Soccer Complex. All campers will receive a free camp ball, free camp T-shirt and a personal player evaluation.

If registered by May 2, campers will receive a free soccer jersey. The final registration deadline is June 6; a $10 late fee will be assessed if payment is received after this date.
The camp is open to boys and girls ages 3-18. All ability levels are welcome.

Class times and fees are as follows:

First Kicks 9-10 a.m.
3 years old

First Kicks 5-6 p.m.
3 years old

Mini Soccer 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
4-5 years old
$100

Mini Soccer 6:30-8 p.m.
4-5 years old
$100

Half Day 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
6-16 years old
$131

Half Day 5-8 p.m.
6-16 years old
$131

Full Day 9 a.m. -12 p.m. and 5-8 p.m.
3-18 years old
$182

Challenger Soccer representatives will be available Sunday, May 4 at Thompson Berry Park for questions or to register for camp. Times will be announced at a later date. Summer Feeding Program will be onsite from 11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. daily.
