Owensboro Police Department Reports Activity

oboro police 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (6/3/14) — Owensboro Police Department reported the following recent arrests and citations:

Padro Cortes, 24, of Lexington, was charged with display or possession of a cancelled or fictitious operator’s license and alcohol intoxication after he allegedly gave officers a fake ID during a traffic stop in Carlton Drive.

Carl Davis, 78, of Owensboro, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence in the 900 block of Tamarack Road.

William Girten, 57, of Owensboro, was charged in the 3500 block of Legacy Run Road with driving without an operator’s license and leaving the scene of an accident

Rebecca Hindman, 30, of Owensboro, was charged with trafficking marijuana, drug possession, and tampering with physical evidence in the 1300 block of W. Second Street. Authorities said they seized marijuana and a cell phone allegedly containing text messages offering drugs for sale.

Nathan Hope, 33, of Owensboro, was charged with theft by unlawful taking on a warrant alleging he stole prescription drugs.

Amber Likens, 20, of Owensboro, and Beth Likens, 19, of Owensboro, were arrested on charges of theft by unlawful taking and shoplifting in the 5000 block of Frederica Street.

Dale Sapp, 58, of Maple, Wis., was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence in the 900 block of E. 18th Street.

Angie Brown, 36, of Owensboro, was charged with theft by unlawful taking in the 300 block of E. 4th Street.

Devon Buckman, 29, of Owensboro, was charged with fourth degree assault in the 600 block of Chuck Gray Court.

Waitman Butler, 44, of Owensboro, was charged with alcohol intoxication in the 1200 block of W. 5th Street.

Joseph Cavanaugh, 44, of Owensboro, was charged with possession of marijuana and operating a motor vehicle while under the influence at the intersection of Leitchfield Road and E. 18th Street.

Triston Garrett, 18, of Owensboro, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug possession at the corner of W. 2nd Street and Crabtree Avenue.

Micha Hollowell, 22, of Owensboro, was charged with third degree terroristic threatening in the 600 block of Chuck Gray Ct. for allegedly threatening to kill another man.

James Kellums, 23, address unknown, was charged with third degree criminal trespassing in the 2100 block of Triplett Street.

Tabitha Marksberry, 39, of Owensboro, was charged with parental responsibility of a minor after her son was allegedly stopped while walking just before 2 a.m. Police said an ordinance prohibits minors to be outdoors without supervision between the hours of 1 a.m. and 5 a.m.

Austin Moody, 27, of Owensboro, was arrested in the 100 block of E. 2nd Street on first degree and third degree possession of a controlled substance, an indictment warrant, and charges of failure to appear

Jose Morales Aguilar, 29, of Owensboro, was charged in the 3400 block of Villa Pt. with theft by unlawful taking.

Gregory Stadfield, 35, of Owensboro, was charged with parental responsibility of a minor after his son was allegedly stopped while walking just before 2 a.m.

Chris Stanley, 18, of Owensboro, was charged with drug possession in the 200 block of Crabtree Avenue.

Aieral White, 19, of Owensboro, was charged in the 1400 block of Moseley Street with operating a motor vehicle on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, failure to comply with helmet laws, careless driving, and other related offenses.

Joshua Abell, 27, of Owensboro, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence.

Vicki Bailey, 50, of Owensboro, was charged in the 3100 block of W. 2nd St. with alcohol intoxication, second degree disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and receiving stolen property worth less than $500.

Cory Burden, 26, of Whitesville, was charged in the 1600 block of E. 18th St. with possession of marijuana, drug possession, driving with a DUI suspended license, and other offenses.

Darius Carbon, 21, of Owensboro, was charged in the 200 block of E. 9th St. with theft by unlawful taking.

Neal Jackson, 35, of Owensboro, was charged in the 400 block of Walnut St. with first degree burglary and fourth degree assault. Police alleged he attacked his ex-girlfriend, then fled the scene in the 800 block of Walnut Street.

Jennie Massie, 33,of Owensboro, was charged in the 2100 block of Carpenter St. with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and drug possession.

Vernon Page, 43, of Maceo, was charged at the corner of E. Parrish Ave. and Mosley Ave. with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, possession of marijuana, drug possession, and operating a motor vehicle on a suspended or revoked operator’s license.

Matthew Shelton, 23, of Maceo, was charged with alcohol intoxication in the 2200 block of Collins Drive.

Benjamin Stallings, 26, address unknown, was charged in the 1000 block of Jackson St. with fourth degree assault, third degree criminal trespassing, and second degree disorderly conduct.

Jereth Williams, 26, of Owensboro, was charged with alcohol intoxication and receiving stolen property.

Authorities are investigating a reported third degree burglary in the 1700 block of Sweeney Drive, a reported third degree arson in the 600 block of Cedar St., a reported fourth degree assault and burglary in the 400 block of Walnut St., and a reported third degree burglary in the 2800 block of Blueberry Lane. No arrests have been made in any of these cases and the investigations are ongoing.
