Lexington Weekly Traffic Report

lane closures blue 300LEXINGTON, Ky (6/14/13)— Work is done between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., unless otherwise noted.

SPECIAL NOTES
Traffic could be congested in the downtown area near Fifth-Third Pavilion at Cheapside Park from 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, June 15, for the Lexington Farmers’ Market.
 
Traffic could be congested in the downtown area near Fifth-Third Pavilion at Cheapside Park from 5-10 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, for the Vintage Kentucky Wine and Beer Festival.
 
Traffic could be congested near Fifth-Third Pavilion at Cheapside Park for Central Bank Thursday Night Live, which will be held from 4:30-8 p.m. Thursday, June 20.
 
The Division of Engineering issued grading permits during the period May 24-30 for the following addresses: 1989 Falling Leaves Lane, 1921 Falling Leaves Lane, 710 Glendover Road, 2151 Garden Springs Drive, 2980 Man O’ War Boulevard, 1053 Kavanaugh Lane, 101 Sand Lake Drive, 4300 Crawley Lane, 1322 Camden Avenue, 169 Towne Square Park, 201 Grassland Park, 248 Ellerslie Park Boulevard, 154 Montmullin Street, 1772 Sandhurst Cove and 605 Rogers Road. Permits are issued for six months and can include some blasting.
 
SIGNIFICANT TRAFFIC IMPACT
Milling and paving operations will be conducted through Saturday, June 22, on the following streets:
•    Auburn Drive between Eastland Parkway and the cul de sac;
•    Barnard Drive between the county line and the end of the street;
•    Cantrill Drive at Eastland Parkway;
•    Gayle Drive between Eastland Parkway and the end of the street;
•    Eastland Parkway between Fort Sumter Drive and Memphis Court;
•    Kimbolton Drive between Todds Road and Barnard Drive;
•    Liberty Hill Drive between Liberty Road and Republic Court;
•    Martha Court at the cul de sac;
•    Old Paris Road between West New Circle Road and Northwood Drive;
•    Stonewood Lane between Liberty Road and Ridgebrook Road.
 
One lane and the sidewalk of Martin Luther King Boulevard will be blocked between the Avenue of Champions and Keeneland Drive from Friday, June 14, through Friday, June 21, for sewer work.
 
One lane of Normandy Road will be blocked as needed at Della Drive through Tuesday, June 18, for storm sewer repairs.
 
The right outbound lane of North Broadway will be blocked between West Main Street and West Short Street on Monday, June 17, for maintenance work at Victorian Square.
 
Palomar Boulevard will be CLOSED 24 hours a day at Amberwood Court through Friday, June 28, for intersection repairs.
 
DeRoode Street will be CLOSED between Versailles Road and McKinley Street 24 hours a day through December 31, for work on the Newtown Pike extension project. Motorists can access the neighborhood from Merino Street to McKinley Street to Byars Alley.
 
MODERATE TRAFFIC IMPACT
One lane of Coburn Boulevard will be blocked as needed at St. Ann Drive from Monday, June 17, through Friday, June 21, for curb and ramp replacement.
 
Lanes of Locust Avenue will be blocked as needed between Oak Hill Drive and Bryan Avenue through Friday, June 21, for utility work.
 
One lane of Normandy Road will be blocked as needed at Della Drive through Friday, June 21, for storm sewer pipe replacement.
 
Up to two lanes of South Limestone will be blocked at a time at Conn Terrace on Sunday, June 23, for pedway maintenance.
 
One lane of St. Margaret Drive will be blocked at St. Michael Drive, at St. Christopher Drive and at St. Teresa Drive through Friday, August 16, for waterline repair.
 
One lane of Winnie Street will be blocked as needed at Bonnie Brae Drive on Monday, June 17, for utility work.
