Giddy Up, It’s Keeneland Season

keeneland news 300LEXINGTON, Ky (9/25/13)—Kentucky’s favorite past time is gearing back up in Lexington next weekend. Oct. 4 marks opening day for Keeneland’s 2013 Fall Horse Meeting, which continues through Oct. 26 with no Monday or Tuesday races.

Starting next weekend special events will be held at the Keeneland Race Track aside from the races, including a Buffalo Trace Giveaway Day, See Blue Day and a jockey autograph signing. For a full list of the events in October click here.

On October 1-6 the Lexington Selected Yearling Sale will take place at the Fasig-Tipton Sales Pavilion leading up to opening day of the races. Videos, sortable sales roster and a full catalogue is available online, and if you can’t make it to the pavilion the Yearling Sales will be streamed live throughout the week.
