Lexington Ballet Looking to Spread Holiday Cheer

ballet 300LEXINGTON, Ky. (11/27/13) – The Lexington Ballet is asking for contributions this Thanksgiving season through Dec. 1 in honor of the organization Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children, or CASA.

For each $25 donation to the ballet, they will provide a free ticket to their show Snow White for a CASA child along with their CASA volunteer. Following the performance, they will be able to meet the case as well as join them for tea. The performance will be on March 22.

CASA of Lexington works to ensure that all victims of child abuse and neglect are given a chance to thrive in a safe, permanent home.

Linda and Dick Hollembaek and Vincent Cassone of the ballet will also match each donation of $10 to $50 until a pool of $2,000 is reached. Donors who give $100 or more will be eligible for a dinner party for eight at Mulberry and Lime, catered by Dupree Catering and wine from Wines on Vine.

You can find more information about the fundraiser or donate to the ballet by clicking here.
