LEXINGTON, Ky. (4/16/14) — Forty students from a dozen elementary schools competed in the annual Edward T. Houlihan III Fayette County History Fair, sponsored by the Lexington History Museum.
Katelyn Rowell of Ashland Elementary took first place honors with her project “Lincoln Assassination,” and Beppy Badgett of Ashland was runner up with the “Cuban Missile Crisis.” Third place went to Lindy Fischer of Dixie Magnet Elementary with the “Gold Rush.”
