Search for Missing Owensboro Man Continues

missing steveOWENSBORO, Ky. (12/9/13) — A spokesperson for the Owensboro Police Department told Surfky News the search continues for a man missing for almost two weeks.

Steven Tucker, a resident of Davo Rest Home, wandered away Friday, Nov. 29, and is still missing.

According to OPD, there are no leads in his whereabouts so far. Tucker has relatives in Kentucky, Arkansas and Kansas. He is a white male,155 pounds, with blue eyes and grey hair.

Police from a three-state area continue to search, also in concern for Tucker's daily medicine needs and because of the brutally cold weather.

Officer Michael Hathaway. public information officer for OPD, said police are asking for help from the public.

"We are doing all we can to find Tucker, but right now the best course of action is for the public to help us with any possible leads, and call the OPD at (270) 687-8888. We appreciate any leads someone might give us, but so far we have had nothing, unfortunately.” Hathaway said.
