TRAFFIC ALERT – Road Closure in Sebree

trafficalert purple 300SEBREE, Ky. (7/8/13) – KY 56 is closed in downtown Sebree in Webster County. CSX Railroad is doing an emergency repair on the rail crossing at KY 56 mile point 12.359.

CSX reports water is getting into the electrical system that controls crossing gates at the site creating a safety issue.

The crossing is expected to be closed most of the day for repairs. Depending on the extent of the work required, it could remain closed into Tuesday.

There is no marked detour. Passenger vehicles may detour via side streets. Trucks should use appropriate state routes.
