Three Henderson County School District Schools Named as 'Higher Performing'

Henderson County Schools 300HENDERSON, Ky. (4/9/13) – The following Henderson County Schools have been recognized by the ACT Test Administration as a 2012 National Center for Educational Achievement (NCEA) Higher Performing Schools:
  • Cairo Elementary
  • East Heights Elementary 
  • Spottsville Elementary

Recognition as an NCEA Higher Performing School indicates a school’s deep commitment to raising student achievement and putting more students on the path to college and career readiness without regard to socio-economic barriers or other obstacles that might otherwise impede success. These schools stand out as shining examples of what can be achieved when staff, students and parents work together toward a unified goal of preparing students for life after high school.
