Local Moose Lodge Provides Central Academy Funds for Drug and Alcohol Prevention

tood good 300HENDERSON, Ky. (4/23/13) – Retired educator Michael Haile, a member of the local Moose Lodge, strongly suggested Central Academy apply for a mini-grant to help pay for the cost of a drug and alcohol prevention program for the school.

Central Academy was recently awarded $295 from the Moose Lodge #732 to help pay the cost of the Mendez Too Good for Drugs/Violence program kit. This program kit allows Central Academy staff to implement prevention education skills for K-12 students that teach them they are too good for drugs and violence.
