God’s Great Outdoor Adventures – Fall Is On The Way

sportsman 300KENTUCKY (9/13/13) – Hello again folks! I hope you are all having a blessed week. It has been so beautiful outside, though a little warm for bow season, but cooler weather is headed this way.

Yesterday a front moved into our area. We are looking at some excellent conditions for the weekend for bow hunting.

I have hunted one morning this season. I saw two Does and two Fawns. I was hoping to see the giant Buck, but it has just been too warm. Now that the weather is changing, I am gearing up for the weekend.

Always double-check your packs for all your hunting gear. I will check mine at least three times.

I got out the other morning and realized that I had forgotten my thermocell. I paid for that mistake.

If you kill a deer, be sure to get the deer dressed out as soon as possible and get a couple of bags of ice in the chest cavity. The deer meat will quickly spoil in hot temps if you don’t keep it cool.

Also, we are still in the application process for the youth hunts. Contact me (number below) for an application if you have a child that needs a place to hunt. This hunt is also set up for disabled adults as well.

Folks, keep those arrows flying straight and true!

Until next week, God bless and be safe!
