daviess arrestlog3 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (6/18/13) – The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent activity:

At 1:33 p.m. on June 14, an Owensboro woman and six passengers in her car were taken to Owensboro Health for treatment of possible injuries following a two-vehicle accident on the Wendell Ford Expressway. According to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, Latisha Hall, 25, and Jonathan Lawrence, 30, Owensboro, were driving on the expressway when Hall apparently struck the back of Lawrence’s semi as he stopped for traffic ahead of him. The investigation is continuing and charges against Hall are possible, authorities said. Although they stated alcohol wasn’t a factor, authorities didn’t elaborate on what the possible charges could be.

At 9 p.m. on June 14, the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office contacted Denver, Colo. authorities to confirm the arrest of a woman who allegedly left the area in violation of the terms of her release. Authorities said Sarah Cox, Maceo, 25, was charged with failure to comply with pre-trial release conditions on original charges of 40 counts of possession of matter portraying sexual performance by a minor. Cox was arrested in Denver.

At 4:30 a.m. on June 18, Daviess County Deputies responded to a report of “suspicious activity” that led to the arrest of two men and one juvenile. Authorities said Jordan Hall, 18, and Hunter Beard, 18, both of Owensboro, were charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, theft from an automobile, and two counts of attempted theft from an automobile following a traffic stop on Woodcrest Drive. Items allegedly stolen included baseball and softball equipment, a radar detector, and a GPS device. Deputies also alleged the suspects tried to break into at least two other automobiles within the subdivision. All the property was returned to its rightful owners. Hall and Beard were taken to the Daviess County Detention Center. The juvenile was taken to a secure facility after contacting a Court Designated Worker.
