wbh golf 300PADUCAH, KY (9/24/12) – Western Baptist Hospital Foundation’s annual golf tournament Monday raised more than $85,000 in contributions and in-kind donations to help expand and enhance patient care services in areas including cardiology, neurology and neonatal care.
“We were extremely pleased with this year’s tournament,” said Larry Barton, Western Baptist president and CEO. “We appreciate everyone who helps make it a success, from all of our golf teams to our generous sponsors and donors.”
The fifth annual tournament hosted 48 teams at the Country Club of Paducah.
First Place – Tin Cup
Second Place – Western Baptist Hospital Management
Third Place – Mercy Regional Team 1
Random Drawing – Legacy Oxygen and Home Care
Closest to the Pin on Hole #2 – Bob Crosno
Closest to the Pin on Hole #14 – Jason Merrick
Longest Drive – Tammy Courtney
First Place – Holland Stivers & Associates
Second Place – Linwood Paducah-Metropolis
Third Place – US Bank
Random Drawing – McMurry & Livingston
Closest to the Pin on Hole #2 – Brian Andress
Closest to the Pin on Hole # 14 – Jim Zellmer, M.D.
Longest Drive – Brandon Strenge, M.D.
Overall Team Winner and winner of Traveling Trophy – Tin Cup – with a score of 56.
Over the past five years, the Western Baptist Hospital Foundation Golf Tournament has raised more than $390,000 to benefit Western Baptist Hospital and help meet the healthcare needs of the area.
