the big outdoor showPADUCAH, Ky. (1/23/13) – The Big Outdoor Show is bringing in some big names in the world of UK basketball to give another reason to attend this year's event. Four of the 1996 NCAA Championship UK Wildcat team known as "The Untouchables" will make appearances at the 2nd annual event held at the Paducah Expo.

Attendees will have the chance to get photos with and autographs from Walter McCarty, Wayne Turner, Anthony Epps and Jeff Sheppard. The players will appear on February 16 and 17 at the Big Outdoor Show. A complete schedule of appearances is available at TheBigOutdoorShow.com.

Two other events will give UK fans a chance to hang out, watch a game and have dinner with the four players, all of whom played professional basketball. A "Viewing Party" will be held inside the Big Outdoor Show from 12-2 PM on Saturday, February 16, and a "Dinner with the Cats" will be that night at 6:30 PM at Walker Hall. Both events require tickets which can be purchased at TheCatsinPaducah.com.

“If you’re a Kentucky fan, and you really want to hear some stories that have never been told before and that can’t be told publicly, then come check us out,” Sheppard explained about the two additional events.

“It’s really a fun atmosphere, and you get to hear some of the behind-the-scenes stories and you get to see the interaction that the players have with each other,” he said.

“For a Kentucky fan that just loves that inside information, that inside story, it’s a really unique perspective that you get to experience,” Sheppard said.

"The tickets are going to be limited for both of these events," said event organizer Jamie Futrell. "Each ticket holder will get a basketball autographed by all four players, plus food, plus a great time. This is going to be a real bragging rights opportunity."
