Approximately one week ago, Detectives with Sheriff Department’s Drug Division received information alleging that illegal drug activities were occurring at 2200 Bridge Lot #7 in Paducah, McCracken County. The investigation revealed that Casey A. Bennett had been soliciting individuals to purchase Sudafed, a Methamphetamine precursor, for the manufacture of Methamphetamine. Detectives utilized a confidential source of information to contact Bennett. Bennett agreed to pay the individual cash and or Methamphetamine in return for Sudafed. Detectives agreed to meet Bennett at 2197 Bridge Street to sell him Sudafed at his request. Bennett admitted to manufacturing Methamphetamine in the past and stated that it was his intent to make more Methamphetamine using the Sudafed. Bennett was arrested after he took possession of the Sudafed on the parking lot of the business at 4:22 PM.

Detectives then conducted a search of Bennett’s residence located at 2200 Bridge Street Lot #7 in Paducah. Detective seized digital scales with suspected Meth residue, a quantity of Methamphetamine, items of drug paraphernalia and addition Sudafed from the residence.

During the search, Robert L. Conger Jr. arrived at the residence and was arrested on an outstanding McCracken County bench warrant for failing to appear.

Both men were lodged in the McCracken County Jail.
