motorcycle acc blue2 300FRANKFORT, Ky. (4/17/13) – On April 17th, 2013 at approximately 4:51 AM, the McCracken County Sheriff’s Department received a report of an accident with possible injuries in the 3900 Block of Cairo Road.

Investigation revealed that William H Davis, 61 years of age, of Paducah, was operating a 2003 Dodge Dakota, eastbound on Cairo Road when he attempted to make a left turn into the Shooter’s Supply parking lot. Mr. Davis turned into the path of a 2004 Honda Shadow motorcycle being driven westbound on Cairo Road by Jason M. Jowers, 40 years of age, of Kevil.
 
Mr. Jowers was transported to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
 
The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department was assisted on scene by Mercy Regional EMS and The Concord Fire Department.
 
One lane of Cairo Road was closed for approximately one hour for the investigation and clean-up of the accident scene.
