CashmobOpCenter1GREENVILLE, Ky. (7/19/14) — The Greater Muhlenberg Chamber of Commerce visited the Muhlenberg Opportunity Center for a “Cash Mob” early Friday morning. The center serves both Muhlenberg and Hopkins counties offering adults with disabilities a valuable place in society with job training and a work-friendly environment. MOC has contracts with major manufacturers throughout the region to employ clients and is also a cost-effective benefit to the companies. The center has a thrift store, grocery store, two production lines and an extensive recycling business, which helps not only support the local community but also benefits the environment. Clients take pride in their contributions and produce top quality work that helps to build confidence, self-=esteem and a spirit of teamwork. The center is open to the public from 8 a.m. To 3:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Resell-able donations may be dropped off after hours. (Photo courtesy of Greater Muhlenberg Chamber of Commerce)
