bfbc oasis 300MADISONVILLE, Ky. (8/29/13) – Oasis Southwest Grill will be hosting their first annual Bikers Against Breast Cancer on Saturday, September 14th from 12:00pm – 6:00pm.

“A few weeks ago, I was asked if I would like to put together an event,” said Shawn Freels. “We have been concentrating on cornhole, but I didn’t want it to be the main event so I suggested that we find a benefit to coincide with what we are doing. I did some research and found out that Breast Cancer awareness was in October and we began toggling with September 14th and October 5th.”

This event is sponsored by the American Cancer Society, Power Rock 93.9, S&S Rental Sales, Economy Rentals, Noel Properties LLC, Days Inn, Madisonville Fire Department, and Show ‘n Tell Want Ads.

Events that will be taking place include a Bike Show, Poker Run, Silent Auction, Cornhole Tournament, and Bouncy Park for Kids, Beer Garden and a live DJ.

The Bike Show will be from 12:00pm – 3:00pm with a $15.00 entry fee for each category and a chance to win a trophy and other prizes in 16 different categories.

The Poker Run will start at 3:30pm – 6:00pm with a $10.00 entry fee and chance to win a prize. The beer garden, live DJ will be from 12:00pm – 6:00pm and the Silent Auction will be from 12:00pm – 4:00pm.

There will also be a Cornhole Tournament at 2:00pm with an entry fee of $20.00 per team.

There will also be a Bouncy Park free of charge for the kids. The PHI Air Medical Helicopter will also be there, giving support.
