waynes frontGREENVILLE, Ky. (5/14/13) – The Greater Muhlenberg Chamber of Commerce welcomed Wayne's Complete Lawn Care to the business community Friday, May 10th.

A ribbon cutting was held at noon inside one of the huge new greenhouses at Wayne’s, which is exactly 2 miles from the 189-Highway 62 intersection, at 3686 US Hwy 62 West, Greenville.

Gary Jones, president of the chamber, along with other members was on-hand as the staff and manager of Wayne's took a brief time out from a busy, but wet Friday before Mother's Day. Brett and Kelly Wayne are the co-owners of the operation. Brett is a 1990 graduate of Greenville High School. Kelly Wilson Wayne is originally from Madisonville.

Mr. Wayne told SurfKY News that the operation offers "a wide array of different bedding plants, ferns, hanging baskets, Fuchsia, all kinds of in-season vegetables, along with shrubs. We'll also be carrying trees at the end of the season closer to fall."

Wayne's specializes in lawn care, greenhouse plants and flowers, and full service landscaping. They also offer weed control dethatching, and hedge trimming.

"We also specialize in retaining walls, lawn care, ponds, bird houses, mums and pumpkins. I've been doing lawn care for about 18 years, and just decided it was time to branch out." Wayne said.

"We're open 8 to 5 Monday through Friday, Saturday 8 to 2, closed on Sunday.
