RETRO billOWENSBORO, Ky. (10/22/13) - The Owensboro Police Department Crime Prevention Unit is holding Red Ribbon week this week. Red Ribbon week focuses on drug prevention in the Owensboro Public Schools, and they have invited a well known speaker, Retro Bill, to assist in getting the word out to the students.

Who is Retro Bill? He is the official international D.A.R.E. Safety Buddy. He is well known for his work in the areas of children’s safety, self-esteem, and ant bullying for grades K-12. His work as a motivational speaker has made him the most in-demand speaker for grade school students in the country, and he is coming to Owensboro to speak with our kids on Friday, Oct. 25.

Retro Bill will visit the Owensboro Catholic Elementary 4-6 Campus, and Owensboro Middle School South Campus. This will be a great opportunity for our kids, and we look forward to passing his knowledge and motivation on to our children.

For more information about Retro Bill, visit his website at www.retrobill.com.
