“The tournament this week presents a new and exciting challenge for our team,” said Kentucky head coach Golda Johansson Borst. “This is a new event for us and it boasts one of the best fields that we will see this spring. Our team has put in a lot of great work in the past few weeks and I know we are ready to compete. Long Cove Club is a beautiful course and is definitely a placement course, which I believe suits us well. Our gameplan for the week is to play with pa-tience and stay aggressive; the results will take care of themselves.”
