Rods and Ribs Barbecue Festival comes to Central City on the first Saturday in June. The city invites everyone in the county to come be a part of a barbecue competition with great live entertainment sponsored by First Security Bank.
 
On August 27th, Gospelfest takes to the main stage with an evening under the stars featuring Jason Crabb.
 
On Labor Day weekend the Everly Brothers Rock N Roll Cruise in roars into town, featuring one of the area's biggest, and most popular, car and motorcycle shows in the mid-west.
