muhlenbergchambergolf 300CENTRAL CITY, Ky. (6/11/13) – This Thursday, June 13th, 2013, the Central City Country Club will be a good bit more crowded than usual, as the 2013 Greater Muhlenberg Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic takes to the links.

"Twenty-four teams are registered right now, which is the biggest number we've ever had," said the event's coordinator, David Richey of First Security Bank. "However, we still have plenty of room for more teams and sponsors to get in on the fun. The team entry fee is 250.00, and the cost is 125.00 for Hole Sponsors. Or if you would like to do both you can get a discounted price of 300.00 total. This is a great chance to spend an afternoon networking with other area business leaders in a relaxed atmosphere."

"Thanks to the generosity of our chamber members, prizes will be awarded on every hole, including an Ogio vaporlite stand golf bag donated by Go Logo.  A number of prizes will be awarded, including longest putt, closest to the pin, and a number of other categories, so there will be lots of winners all afternoon.  We'll have lunch for chamber members and all team members at 11:45 am, and tee off at 1 p.m. sharp." Richey said.

Last year's 1st Place winner was Hospice of Western Kentucky, 2nd Place when to Eaves Insurance, and Commonwealth Community Bank took 3rd Place. First Security Bank came in fourth, and the most fun team chosen was ATMOS Energy.
