friday bike night 300MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (6/13/13) – This Friday night's Greenville Fire Department (GFD) Bike Night in the courtyard will feature not only some of the hottest American-made and Foreign motorcycles on Earth, but will also spotlight some of the hottest groups in the tri-state live on stage in a Battle of the Bands.
 
One of the GFD event coordinators, Barry Waltrip, says "This will be a perfect night for great food, door prizes for all ages, and band after band competing to move on to the finals later this Summer, when one band will win $1000 cash. The concert and bike contests are being held through August, with all proceeds going to purchase GFD equipment and safety gear for firefighters."
 
Prizes for bikes will include the Best American and Best Foreign bike, the People's Choice award and the Judge's Choice Award.
 
Bands performing will be eligible for a Battle of the Bands on June 28th, July 26th, and August 23rd. The top band will rock off the stage with a thousand dollars in prize money at the end of the season.
 
Other scheduled GFD fundraising event include a July Golf Scramble, with the exact date to be announced.
 
August will feature a Car Show on Saturday, August 24th.
 
September the GFD will have a Movie Night with the date to be announced.
 
October 25th come enjoy a chili supper.
 
November the fire department will sponsor a Turkey / Ham Shoot with the date to be announced.
 
December Santa Delivery's dates are by request anywhere in the county.

August 9: To Be Announced
August 16: Just Us
August 23: FINAL Bike Night Battle of the Bands, Final PRIZE $1000.00! Appleton Harley Davidson, Bouncing B's
