Owensboro Police Investigate Auto Accident

accident injuries amb 300OWENSBORO, Ky. (4/15/14) — Owensboro Police Department responded to an accident with injury call 10:56 a.m., Sunday, April 13 at Wesleyan Park Plaza located in the 2700 block of Frederica Street.

Police said the investigation has revealed that 19-years-old Lahoma Estrada was operating her vehicle in Wesleyan Park Plaza when her male juvenile passenger exited the moving vehicle and struck his head on the pavement.

The 17-year-old juvenile was unresponsive and transported by ambulance to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

This investigation is ongoing.
