Body of Missing Child Located

breaking news body foundKUTTAWA, Ky. (5/30/13) – On Wednesday, May 29, 2013, Kentucky State Police (KSP) reported that a child, 9-year-old Warren Patterson, was missing from Kuttawa Beach on Lake Barkley.
 
KSP officials were notified around 5:00 PM that Patterson had been missing for approximately 30 minutes to an hour.
 
On Thursday, May 30, KSP officials reported that the body of Patterson had been located by the Marshall County Rescue Squad Dive Team near the beach area at around 11:30 PM on Wednesday evening.
 
Patterson was pronounced deceased on scene by the Lyon County Coroner.
 
KSP was assisted by multiple agencies on the scene.
