MADISONVILLE, Ky. (9/23/13) – On Sunday, September 22, at around 5:30 PM, many modern-day vehicles began rolling into the parking lot of Life Christian Center Church in Madisonville. Oddly enough, however, many of the people that exited the vehicles were not dressed in modern day attire. On the contrary, many were dressed in gowns, carrying swords, and various other medieval clothing and items.

Over 100 local citizens and children showed up for the Kids Kingdom advancement ceremony for children attending the church.
 
Life Christian Center has a very unusual, and exciting, manner in which they keep local kids interested in learning the road to Heaven. It is done in a very medieval structure. Starting out, the youngest children are Knaves. Then, as the learn the bible and moral values, they step up each year from Paige, Squire, Armor Bearer, and finally, Knights for the males and Princesses for the females.
 
Church Staff, parents and children alike joined together to make this modern day Camelot a reality.
 
Those named Knave were Jasmine Allen, Gabby Armstrong, Mason Brewer, Cameron Campfield, Cole Campfield, Elizabeth Ezell, Cheri Geary, Latrell Hopson, Sky Hopson, Kendrick Leibenguth, Ayanna Major, Ty Oakley, Eliza Payne, Britan Phipps, Takiyah Sharp, Calvin Steppe, Macara Stewart, Tori Stewart, Serenity Taylor and Kayley Tucker.
 
Those named Page were Erika Baxter, Karl Brown, Cameron Campfield, Cole Campfield, Kaiveon Day, Katie Belle Dickerson, Leilani Garrett, Bruce Gilbert, Sway Hopson, Trakell Hopson and Ayanna Majors.
 
Those named Squire were Kaiveon Day, Katie Belle Dickerson, Bruce Gilbert, Melody Joy Kincaid, Chase Oldham, Josiah Petit, Michael Powell and Xavior Youngblood.
 
The Armor Bearers were Jason Chavis, Katie Vincent, Cordie Vincent and Carlow Vincent.
 
Finally, the one named Princess was Alyssa Anne-Marie Oldham.

Congratulations to these young citizens that stuck with it to achieve these notable titles.
