Murray State Unveils New Football Lobby

murray school 3MURRAY, Ky. (9/20/13) – Murray State head football coach Chris Hatcher continues to improve the football facility as the Racers have now completed the new lobby entrance to the football offices. Hatcher teamed up with Forty Nine Degrees to enhance the entrance to the facility.

The project features new wall designs that showcase the history of Racer football. The wall graphics include the Racer All-Americans, players in the NFL and conference championships. The room also showcases all the “Big Wins” in program history. The room also features field turf as the carpet.

“I would like to thank Director of Athletics Allen Ward and all the boosters that have helped to make this project possible,” said Hatcher. “I would also like to send out a special thank you to all the staff and current players who have gone above and beyond to update this facility.

“This is a great addition to help recognize the football achievements over the years. Before this project, there was nothing on these walls to recognize and honor the former players and traditions here at Murray State.”

In Hatcher’s four years at MSU, renovations have been completed on the locker room, team meeting rooms and the weight room, while also adding a player’s lounge, known as the Horseshoe Lounge.
