KENTUCKY (11/30/2012) - In our world today, chaos is everywhere. Still, in America today, everything seems to be crashing around us. So many want to point fingers and try to find out whom to blame. I ask this, what have the “religious” done about anything?
You see, there is a fine line between “Christian” and “religious.” I, as I’ve said many times, am a product of the church. I have grown up around the “religious” and know all about it. Still, what is “religion?” Let’s explore this and the difference in being “Christian.”
You see the “religious” are the ones that attend church weekly, speak about this nation and all they see wrong with it…yet do nothing about it. The “religious” are the ones that stood idly by and watched as America was ripped away from God. More concerned about appearance and money, they tend to focus on public approval. It’s the “religious” that tend to push so many away from God and His true church.
Now, the “Christians” are the ones that truly live up to the name…”Christ like.” It’s these “Christians” that tend to love without reason, reach out to a dying world and strive to show the love of Christ to all. Not concerned with appearance or money, they don’t worry about how the world sees them. You see, a “Christian” is not of this world so the views of this world mean little to them.
I wonder if all that claimed to be “Christian” would stand up and do something rather than simply be “religious,” what would happen? I hear many complain about our president and government. Still, if all the “Christians” would stand up and demand what is ours…a Godly nation, you know…”One nation under God?” this nation would be so different. The president and the government would have to listen to our cries, if we were united and fought together for our God.
It’s sad, how the “religious” have taken over the church. It’s shameful how our churches have turned a Godly thing into a spectacle and fraternity that only a few are allowed into. “Religious” leading the helpless…it’s a scary thought. Still, what about all those “Christians” out there? I ask this, are you willing to stand up, now? How far must our nation and world fall before we say “Enough is enough?!” How much must we lose before we realize that we are standing by and letting our God given right to worship and live in a Godly nation slip away? Let’s be honest, let’s be bold…this was a Godly nation, and only as one will it ever stand. It’s time we take this nation back, place it back into God’s hands, and realize that many won’t like it…but we aren’t here to make the world happy, we are here to do God’s will. “Religious” or “Christian,” you can’t be both…so which are you?
