agenda truth 300KENTUCKY (11/30/12) – SurfKY News is honored to welcome a new columnist onboard. Christopher Toney, a lifelong Kentucky resident and spokesperson for the general public, a local magistrate, a business owner, and a self-proclaimed defender of the constitution, will be keeping you informed on what is going on a variety of levels, from your hometown to our country, and even on an international level. Chris Toney will speak his mind and tell it like it is. Without further ado, we are pleased to present the first column for Agenda Truth.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and enjoyed the time with your friends and family. With Thanksgiving behind us the political arena has turned its eyes toward the “fiscal-cliff” facing America. The propaganda to tax “the rich” is in full swing. The tax increase sought by the “progressives” in Washington will apply to individuals earning $200k/year or on households filing jointly earning $250k/year. If you earn either of these amounts or more you are considered rich to many in Washington.

Many of these “rich” people are small business owners. Therefore on this week’s episode of THE TIP I introduce some basic economics 101 in explaining just what these tax increases will actually do to the rest of us. I also offer what we must start working on to fix the situation and get our country back on the right track.

Did you see all the fighting on Black Friday? I will touch on this issue as well as someone needs to snap our fellow Americans out of it. I am considering renaming Black Friday to “Good-Grief… really?”

Lastly I will share a story from my childhood that I remembered at 1:30 A.M. a few nights ago. This story offered a life lesson and inspired me to issue a dire warning to our government. Thank you for watching.

Laus Deo,
Chris Toney
