KENTUCKY (12/5/12) – With all the talk about fiscal cliffs, tax increases, spending cuts, and “discussions to nowhere”, from our elected representatives and the White House, I decided to show the government method of taxation in a manner the government will not appreciate.
 
Do you know your true effective tax rate? If you Google, Yahoo, Bing, or whatever search you will find all sorts of reports that say the effective tax rate of taxpayers is anywhere between 30%-55%. But do you think the government is calculating ALL taxes they charge “We the People?” Of course not! It's the government. Being honest is just not part of the curriculum. They prefer to not include the usage taxes we pay unnoticed every day.
 
On this week's episode of “THE TIP” I examine and expose the government and their funny figures when calculating your tax rate, inflation rate, and unemployment rate. Government entities at all levels are progressively moving Americans to a 100% tax rate with each and every new tax they initiate.
